We are often asked - ‘What is a Level 3 Accreditation for Bike mechanics’ - many people, even those applying for courses do not know!’
The question is; “Do you REALLY know how much you will be taught?” Will the instructors for other ‘Accreditations’ be as experienced and knowledgeable as ours? Will they teach you as much as us, working with you to achieve a high standard from which you can develop your own business?

This is our ‘Certificate of Attainment which includes the City & Guilds. This is the level we teach on a ten day course. It costs just one fee, not three at different levels. We are recognised as the leading UK instructors for bicycle mechanics. We set the standards - Alf & Teresa Webb and Jon Colborne.
After 27 years of teaching bicycle mechanics we have decided to take a step back. This will allow Jon, our senior instructor and City & Guilds approved assessor to take the leading teaching role for the courses enabling him to enlarge his particular skills with modern bike technology.
The teaching workshop has to Cumbria. Our office at The Old Schoolhouse will remain, allowing us to co-ordinate the courses with Jon and continue with advice and assistance for past and future students. As approved City & Guilds assessors and Internal Verifiers we will continue in our role as co-ordinators.
